Dhoom Dhoom was the English version of the title
track of Dhoom.
While its Hindi
version bagged the Zee Cine Award for Best Track of the Year and earned Sunidhi
Chauhan the Best Playback Singer – Female at the same ceremony in 2005, this
track, rendered by Thai-American singer Tata Young was popular too.
Asif Ali Beg
penned this version, which was three minutes and 21 seconds long.
Pritam was
inspired by Jesse Cook’s 1996 track Mario
Takes A Walk. Had he understood the Gravity
of the situation, he could have avoided the accusations of plagiarism.
