soundtrack of Race (2008) was
released, Khwaab Dekhe (Sexy Lady)
was indeed a surprise for the listeners.
The song, rendered
by Neeraj Shridhar and Indian Idol 2
contestant Monali Thakur, was four minutes and 36 seconds long.
Sameer penned
the track.
It was composed
by Pritam, who earned nominations in the Best Music Director category at the
Filmfare Awards and the International Indian Film Academy Awards in 2009.
It replaced one
of the original tracks – Mujh Pe Toh
Jadoo (rendered by Stereo Nation’s Taz, Apache Indian and Sunidhi Chauhan) –
in the film.
