Interestingly, I
noticed the alternating tempos when I arranged the songs of Love Aaj Kal in the alphabetical order.
And although Dooriyaan – the fourth of the five
tracks from the film in my playlist – cannot be called a smash (Mo)hit, it was
certainly worth recommending to those who prefer mellower stuff to loud fare.
Mr Chauhan has done
a pretty decent job, but that is hardly surprising, because songs like these are
right up his alley.
Without an iota
of doubt, Irshad Kamil’s lyrics are the highlight of the track, which was
composed by Pritam.
