Without an iota
of doubt, Mere Dholna was the
most outstanding track in Bhool Bhulaiyaa. It was also the longest – it was six minutes and 47 seconds long.
A throwback to
the era when Hindi film soundtracks predominantly comprised songs with a
classical base, the track was rendered by Shreya Ghoshal and M G Sreekumar, one
of the most popular playback singers in the Malayalam film industry.
If Pritam’s
intention was to surprise the listeners, there is no two ways about the fact that
he did a wonderful job.
The track was
penned by Sameer.
