A listener would
interpret the insipid phrase, “Touch Me”
as, “Strike a chord with me.” That is precisely what the track from Dhoom 2, which was penned by Sameer,
failed to do.
At five minutes
and 17 seconds long, it was the longest song in the film.
While the song’s
perplexing hook went, “Touch Me, Don’t
Touch Me”, there was certainly no confusion about one thing – Pritam was
rapidly plumbing the depths of mediocrity.
KK and Alisha Chinai
rendered it.
It would take
several repetitions to grow on the listeners (their tastes permitting, of
course).
