Neeraj justified the rustic (D’)Mel(l)ody

Don’t go by Neeraj’s renditions as the frontman of Bombay Vikings and previous tracks on Hindi film soundtracks.

His repertoire also included Prem Ki Naiyya from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, a track that didn’t only prove his versatility, but also came as a pleasant surprise for the listeners.

He Sh(ridh)ared singing credits with Suzanne D’Mello.

Irshad Kamil penned the song, which was composed by Pritam, who bagged the Mirchi Music Listeners’ Choice Album of the Year in 2009.

While it was four minutes and six seconds long, its remixed version was 25 seconds longer.
