The soundtrack
of Darling (2007) featured a song
whose beats were pulsating enough to rock many chilled-out evenings. And its translation
could send a chill down one’s spine.
The track in
question was Aa Khushi Se Khudkhushi Kar
Le, which means, “Come, happily commit suicide.”
It was penned by
Sameer and composed by Pritam.
Mr Mukherjee and
Sunidhi Chauhan S(ha)ang it.
They were accompanied
by a female chorus, who rendered a portion in English.
Incidentally,
the song, which was remixed, featured on the soundtrack of Bhagam Bhag too. But it wasn’t used in the film.
