Kidnap, which released in 2008, marked a collaboration between
Pritam and Sanjay Gadhvi, who directed the first two films in the Dhoom franchise.
Hence, there
were mounting expectations of a soundtrack as awesome as those of the
aforementioned films.
It wasn’t, but the
prolific composer delivered a track that kept the listeners hooked.
Hey Ya was rendered by Suzanne D’Mello, who oozed sensuousness.
The track, which
was penned by Mayur Puri, was four minutes and 15 seconds long.
There was
another version of it, titled House Mix.
It was four minutes and nine seconds long.
