Roxen was a
Lahore-based rock band, and Mustafa Zahid was its frontman. One of their songs
was titled Na Kar Deewana.
These must be
many who are unfamiliar with the track, but its Indian adaptation – Tera Mera Rishta – would perhaps ring a
bell. It was included on the soundtrack of Awarapan.
Five minutes and
47 seconds long, the aptly-titled song was penned by Sayeed Quadri and
recreated by Pritam.
It was rendered
by Zahid, and can be translated to, “Your relationship with me is old.”
Its remixed
version was four minutes and 54 seconds long.
