Javed rendered the Shiva theme

If the six tracks on the soundtrack of Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva were arranged in the alphabetical order, Shiva Theme would be the last.

And if they were arranged in the ascending order of their durations, it would be the first – it was three minutes and 11 seconds long.

Do not be fooled by the word ‘Theme’ in the title, because it wasn’t an instrumental piece. In any case, none of the songs in my collection are instrumental pieces.

It was rendered by Javed Ali.

Amitabh Bhattacharya and Prasun Gupta wrote the Pritam Chakraborty composition.

It was SunG by Joshi

If the six songs from Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva in my collection were arranged in the alphabetical order, Rasiya would be the fifth.

And if they were arranged in the descending order of their durations, it would be the third – it was four minutes and 25 seconds long.

The song was the second duet from the film in my collection.

It happened to be the only contribution of both the singers – Shreya Ghoshal and Tushar Joshi – to its soundtrack.

The song, which was written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, was composed by the one and only Pritam.

(Arij)It was Singh’s long-awaited solo

Kesariya* was the fourth song from the Hindi version of Brahmastra: Part OneShiva in my collection in the alphabetical order, and the second in the descending order of their durations – it was four minutes and 28 seconds long.

(Arij)It was rendered by the Sing(h)er for all seasons.

The song, which was written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, was composed by Pritam.

The man who produced and mixed it was Pahuldip Singh Sandhu, a.k.a. Steel Banglez.

(*Note: The film – and the song – were also released in the four South Indian languages, viz., Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu).

Ms Gandhi was the Sing(h)er

If the six songs from Brahmastra: Part OneShiva were arranged in the alphabetical order, Deva Deva would be the third.

But if they were arranged in the descending order of their durations, it would be the first – it was four minutes and 39 seconds long.

No prizes for guessing that Arijit was one of the two Sing(h)ers who lent their voices to the song.

The lady who joined him behind the microphone for it was Jonita Gandhi.

The song, which was written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, was composed by the one and only Pritam Chakraborty.

Slow Cheetah sang this song

There were a couple of songs on the soundtrack of Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva whose titles contained the word ‘Theme’.

The shorter of those was titled Dev Theme [which was dedicated to Shiva’s (Ranbir Kapoor's character) father in the film].

In fact, it was the shortest of the songs from the film in my collection – it was just a couple of minutes and 54 seconds long.

The song was sung by rapper Slow Cheetah, whose real name was Chaitanya Sharma.

It was written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and was composed by the one and only Pritam.

Singh’s solo was about dance

The long-delayed Brahmastra: Part OneShiva released in 2022.

The soundtrack of the film’s Hindi version contained half-a-dozen tracks.

If they were arranged in the alphabetical order, Dance Ka Bhoot would be the first.

And if they were arranged in the ascending order of their durations, it would be the third – it was four minutes and five seconds long.

(Arij)It was sung by Mr Singh.

Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the song, which Pritam composed.

Bu the way, the word Bhoot, in this context, does not mean a ghost. It could be loosely translated to, “A spell”.
