Following the stupendous
success of Dhoom Machale [the Hindi
version of the title track of Dhoom (2004)],
Pritam – who composed it – was able to tell those who levelled allegations of
plagiarism against him to Take A Walk.
The longest
track in the film, it was six minutes and 15 seconds long. Penned by Sameer, it
was inspired by Canadian musician Jesse Cook’s Mario Takes A Walk and Enta
Ma Oltesh Leih from Egyptian singer Amr’s 2003 album Allem Alby.
By no means
could the song, which was rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan, be described as
Diabolical.
