The opening
lines of Salaame from Dhoom went, “Me gusto mucho bailar bailar, quiero samba, quiero salsa.” They
could be translated to, “I really like to dance. I want to samba, I want to
salsa.”
When one listens
to it, one thing he/she certainly won’t tell his/her feet is, “Thamba” (Marathi for stop).
The track, which
was five minutes and 17 seconds long, was composed by Sameer and penned by
Pritam.
Rendered (with a
great deal of gusto) by Kunal Ganjawala and Vasundhara Das, it was among the
top three songs on the film’s soundtrack.
