Ganjawala and Vasundhara (Ku)na(i)led it

The opening lines of Salaame from Dhoom went, “Me gusto mucho bailar bailar, quiero samba, quiero salsa.” They could be translated to, “I really like to dance. I want to samba, I want to salsa.”

When one listens to it, one thing he/she certainly won’t tell his/her feet is, “Thamba” (Marathi for stop).

The track, which was five minutes and 17 seconds long, was composed by Sameer and penned by Pritam.

Rendered (with a great deal of gusto) by Kunal Ganjawala and Vasundhara Das, it was among the top three songs on the film’s soundtrack.
