Since Dhoom was considered Pritam’s
breakthrough, expectations that the soundtrack of Dhoom 2, which released in 2006, obviously mounted.
But by no means
would it be incorrect to state that Crazy
Kiya Re, which was rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan, was a tad disappointing.
However, the
energy of the track, which was four minutes and 54 seconds long, was infectious.
It was penned by
Sameer.
Its remixed
version (by Bunty Rajput) was three minutes and 57 seconds long.
Despite being far
from flawless, it went on to become the best-selling Hindi film soundtrack of
the year.
