In 2005, Pritam
transported the listeners to the land of the Pyramids again.
Given that the
film was titled Garam Masala, the
composer’s fans were awaiting a hot soundtrack. And he certainly didn’t let
them down.
No prizes for
guessing that the artiste who inspired him was Amr Diab, whose 1999 track, Ana,
inspired Ada.
The Son(u)g,
which was penned by Sameer, was rendered by Mr Nigam.
It was four
minutes and 45 seconds long.
The remixed
version of the track, which has been credited to DJ Suketu, was three minutes
and 46 seconds long.
