While the
soundtrack of Chocolate (2005) didn’t leave a bad taste in the listeners’ mouths, it was no deep, dark secret that Pritam, who
composed it, was inspired by Jesse Cook (again).
The most popular
track in the film was Halka Halka Sa Yeh
Sama. To be fair to the former, it was a pretty good adaptation of Breeze from Saintes Maries, from the
latter’s live album Montreal, which, incidentally, released the previous year.
Mayur Puri penned
the Son(u)g, which was five minutes and 10 seconds long, and was rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan and Nigam.
