Pritam’s musical
journey included a stopover in Turkey, where he dove into the sea of melody and
emerged with a track inspired by Kuzu
Kuzu (2001).
But on listening
to Dil Samundar, from Garam Masala, many people must’ve said,
“WhaT(ark)an appalling adapation this is.”
The longest
track in the film, it was five minutes and 14 seconds long.
It wouldn’t be
incorrect to say that the track, which was penned by Sameer, was salvaged by
the duo who rendered it – KK and Sunidhi Chauhan.
Thankfully, it
had neither a second version nor a remixed version.
